What I have done…

A short and unsuccessful stint in banking in London was followed by an equally short and unsuccessful spell in Air Freight based at Heathrow. In 1999 I was handed a career lifeline with an IBM hardware brokerage company and found myself good at something for the first time.

My ability to memorise part numbers of every machine made me a natural IT broker with many third-party maintenance companies relying on my knowledge to get them the right part time and again. Later that same year, I started my own company, MKT Computers, which to this day has an enviable reputation as a leading provider of refurbished IBM parts, mostly supplied to maintenance and support markets.

What I do now…

Having attained IBM certification in Storage, Power systems and AIX, I now get to talk to a whole new range of IT professionals.

Understanding a client’s IBM needs and converting that information into a working proposal is a daily challenge.

What I do for fun…

I race a Volkswagen MK5 Golf GTi around the UK and once each year overseas. I’m privileged to have raced, and crashed, at Nurburgring, Spa, Zandvoort and Zolder.

I am deeply involved with local kids’ football teams, coaching at U9 and U10 level, and occasionally refereeing for older age groups. I have a huge fondness for red wine. Lots of it. As long as it is French. Or Italian. Or from anywhere else.

What I bring to Maxime…

I have been looking at, talking about or pulling apart IBM hardware for nearly 20 years.

As boring as this may seem, it demonstrates my passion for what I do. I bring an enthusiasm that is matched by the rest of my team here.

Our people.

Our team are all highly experienced in IBM technologies, from configuration to support and maintenance.

They are all accredited, helpful and motivated for your success.
