What I have done…

I went straight into the IT industry after my A Levels, starting work as a test engineer dealing with a wide range of refurbished IBM equipment. Over the next 10 years I graduated from lower-end IBM kit to the latest server technology. By that stage I wasn’t just testing, but building and repairing systems too.

I worked my way up into management, managing over 30 engineers. During this time, I also completed an Open University degree in design technology and computing, which largely focused on Java programming. I thought it was time for something new… and then Martyn gave me with the opportunity to set up the engineering and warehousing side of his business.

What I do now…

I provide technical support to the sales team and where possible provide them with in-house training on new IBM systems.

My role sees me looking specifically at what equipment a customer currently has and then advising what new equipment would be a best fit for their future needs.  I have gained numerous IBM qualifications in the Power Systems area.

What I do for fun…

I love the outdoors, especially walking, running and cycling in it.

Me and my brothers are always looking for the next adventure, whether that’s cycling across the country or walking the national Three Peaks Challenge. Having a very active border collie helps, as she demands a lot of exercise!

What I bring to Maxime…

I have quite literally grown up with IBM equipment.

I know how to configure, build and work on these machines and 17 years experience in this industry shows my passion and confidence to help the team here meet our customer requirements.

Our people.

Our team are all highly experienced in IBM technologies, from configuration to support and maintenance.

They are all accredited, helpful and motivated for your success.
