IBM Sales.

What I have done…

After studying a degree in French and German at university, I stumbled into the IT industry and spent the next three years working with customers and supplying IBM parts into Europe.

I left the industry after a few years and worked as a European Sales Manager but, over a bottle or two of wine, decided to rejoin the industry as part of the Maxime team. It was like I’d never been away.

What I do now…

I now work in IBM sales along with Martyn and Howard, working to grow the Maxime business.

I really enjoy meeting new people so I spend as much time as possible talking to and meeting potential customers. IBM Storage is the area I focus on and I recently gained IBM certification for Storage.

What I do for fun…

My Border Collie, Lucy, has me out walking at all times of the day. When I’m not busy with her, I love travelling and have been lucky enough to see some amazing places.

Back at home, I love spending time with friends and enjoy baking cakes for the guys back in the office, although I don’t do it enough, apparently!

What I bring to Maxime…

Apart from ensuring everyone is piling on the pounds by eating too much cake, I thoroughly enjoy working at Maxime and hope my enthusiasm shines through.

I haven’t been in this industry for as long as some of the other guys here but I’m making sure that I pick up as much knowledge as possible with the support of the team so customers always have the information they need.
